Name: Daughter

Daughter are Elena Tonra and Igor Haefeli and they are set to release an EP ‘The Wild Youth’ on Communion next month. Tonra started off as an acoustic singer but then she met Haefeli and together they created a more layered, atmospheric sound which definitely worked to their advantage. Take the track ‘Love’ for example, the vocals and the instrumentation merge as the song builds and builds. We think it’s beautiful.
